Taco Bell is open in Manlius

The Taco Bell at 4 Stickley Drive in Manlius is now open! This is the first Cantina style restaurant to be built in New York State so far, featuring the same national fast food chain items with a twist. The new location is home to a bar and space for in-house entertainment, including scheduled comedians and trivia nights.

Outside of the food scene, this speaks to the general aim of establishing a location in Manlius–the restaurant hopes that this will become a truly local hotspot for the community. Locals worried that whatever was to replace the old Manlius firehouse, which stood from 1968 until 2017, would erase a part of the town’s history. Instead, the decision to incorporate the building into the new Taco Bell speaks to the aim of preserving a historic site.

Will Taco Bell Cantina be the newest spark to the town of Manlius? Only time will tell. For now, its message has placed it on a great trajectory.
