Meenakshi Thangadurai is a freshman at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and is in her first year with The Buzz. She currently serves as a Contributing Writer. Meenakshi is actively involved in a wide range of extracurricular activities. She is the secretary of the Learn To Be Club, where she works as a math tutor, a leader and volunteer with the Red Cross Youth Council, a tenor drummer in the Highland Pipe Band, and a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol. She is also a runner on the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams.

In her free time, Meenakshi enjoys learning Indian classical dance (Bharatanatyam), singing Carnatic music, reading, and writing articles for the club.
