The Buzz is the student news publication of Fayetteville-Manlius High School.  It is developed by students through participation in the F-M Buzz club during the activity period.  The club publishes a print edition approximately six to eight times per year and also maintains a website, thefmbuzz.org, regularly.

The staff for The Buzz is selected in the spring in order to maintain continuity.  Outgoing staff leaders assist the new leaders in learning their new roles for the following school year.  This “passing of the torch” has created a strong sense of community within the organization.  New club members are welcome to join at any point throughout the year.

The club’s main goal is to publish a wide range of articles on diverse topics that interest the readership of the high school community and beyond.
