After days of complex clues and with the new rising stress of auditions and applications, even people outside of the music department have been wondering: What will the musical be this year? And that answer came out recently! The FM High School musical for 2025 will be The Prom!

The Prom is a musical comedy following four eccentric Broadway stars in need of more publicity. To gain that, they decide to assist a lesbian student, Emma, banned from bringing her girlfriend to her school’s prom. Determined to both transform lives and bring themselves back into the light, the stars fight to both change the town and give Emma the celebration she deserves.

If you want a preview of the show, it was actually adapted into a film by director Ryan Murphy in 2020. It features many popular actors like Meryl Streep, James Corden, and Nicole Kidman!
