What costumes will we be seeing the FM student body wearing tonight? We polled them to see!
In a survey asking FM students about their costume choices for this Halloween, we received the following data. We only received 15 responses out of a student body of nearly 1,400 people, so this is in no way a complete view of the school’s Halloween choices. Rather, this a look into a sample of this school’s population to see any trends.
60 percent of the students who answered were in 9th grade. 33 percent were in 11th grade. There was one 10th grader who answered and no 12th graders.
Over half of the students who answered the survey plan to dress up as a fictional character, such as Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice. The second largest category, accounting for 13.3 percent of the responses, is not dressing up at all. This is still compared to the 86.7 percent who will be dressing up tonight. Other students are dressing up as pumpkin headed people, fairies, royalty, and even a member of the band Ghost.
At the end of the survey, we asked students if they had a pet they were dressing up along with them for Halloween. 33.3 percent said that they didn’t have a pet to accompany them this Halloween. Out of the remaining 66.7 percent who have a pet, only 1 student said they would be dressing up their furry friend tonight.
This survey only represents a small portion of the entire FM population, but this shows a glimpse of what you can expect to see tonight during any of the fun Halloween activities you may choose to participate in. Stay safe tonight and have a happy Halloween!
